First Report from QUIP
My first attempt at live blogging a conference I've never been to before.
One Friend already commented on the variety of Friends here, from so many different parts of the Quaker world. I don't know how different that is from usual - I'll try to sound out other Friends opinions about that.
Tonight, there was a panel discussion "Seasoning and Harvesting: the Periodical Process" featuring editors from Friends Journal, The Friend and Pendle Hill pamphlet series.
When I have time, I will try to write more about the content, with links and everything.
Tomorrow night, the panel is Blogging as Ministry: The Quaker Way, featuring Gil Skidmore, Will T. and me.
Even before we speak, we're going to set up a low tech blog experience: taping up posts from our various blogs and inviting people to write their own comments, so that people can participate.
More tomorrow!
