Upcoming Workshops at Quaker Center
Full disclosure: I'm on the board of the Ben Lomond Quaker Center Association, a small retreat and camping center under the care of College Park Quarterly Meeting. Ben Lomond is a small town in the redwood forest in the coastal mountains above Santa Cruz, California. USA, not Scotland.
This weekend Quaker Center is hosting a very full workshop on clerking in the manner of Friends led by Joe Franko (current clerk of PYM) and Shan Cretin (former clerk of PYM). So I'm sorry I didn't write about that sooner, but not too sorry, because it is overbooked anyway. But as a board member, it's part of my responsibility to spread the word about the varied programs that they offer.
Here are the next three weekend programs that may be of interest to readers of this blog:
Financial assistance is available if you need it. If you would like to attend any of these, please contact Quaker Center directly. If you have general questions or comments, I will try to answer them here. Quaker Center also runs camps for Quaker youth and offers space for personal retreats. I recommend them highly.
