Unsolicited Testimonial

For the Gypsy BeesHoney 'n' Sugar Face & Body Scrub.

I would like to offer a word of praise for this amazing product. All natural, Quaker-made, smells like heaven (or lavender, rose geranium, and peppermint essential oils anyway), leaves my 40-year-old skin like silk.

You can order it from Shawna and Kevin at www.gypsybees.com. They also make bar soap, beeswax lip balm, candles, honey and other bee-related products.

It’s so healthy and natural, the husband of one of their customers puts it on his toast!

Which item did you get? I'm looking for a birthday present for my roommate.

I got the Honey and Sugar Scrub. Which I can recommend highly as soothing and moisturizing and exfoliating. But I think they are probably all good. And very reasonably priced, even with shipping.

*Blush*
I hoped you'd like it, Robin. It really does wonders for my old (44yrold) skin, too. I developed it because my mother was lecturing me: "You're at that age where you need to start taking care of your skin, you know..."

I hadn't actually expected an online testimonial, though! Thanks.

When I first developed the recipe, my husband said, "If anyone wants to put this goop on their face, I'll eat a whole jar." That's a man for you... no appreciation for the finer things in life... and he hasn't eaten that jar yet.

I hope your roommate and your mom like it, Allison. Let us know.

Thanks again!

Thanks for posting this; I was looking for some new face cleanser and used to order my beeswax candles off E-bay. It will be nicer to order from a Friend connected by a Friend!

Shawna, why do you think I called it an unsolicited testimonial?

I have to admit, I am not usually a big consumer of face creams, etc. and I was, sorry, fairly skeptical when I first received it. But I did try it when I got home, and I was amazed. I even liked the taste of the little bit that seeped into my mouth while washing my face - you just can't say that about most cleansers. So thank you again for introducing me.

Allison and Anj, I agree that it is wonderful when Friends can support other Friends, either by producing or purchasing practical items. Hope you like it as much as me!

Whenever I make the scrubs, my 5yrold and my 3yrold both hover around, and ask, "Can we lick the bowl when you're done?" Why, sure.
