A Pilgrimage

It's been a busy week. Just now I remembered, "oh yeah, I have a blog. And I already put that post together, I just need to publish it." So here it is.

Last week, I went to visit the town where two of my grandparents lived. It's still beautiful and rural.

This is where they used to live.

I took several pictures of the amazing old monuments in the cemetery where my grandparents are buried. The town was originally part of the California Gold Rush and logging era.

I think this nearby lake is called Lake Collins, but I'm not sure.
