Domestic Artistry

Homemade enchiladas, fruit salad and shortbread for dessert.

The windows are all clean - two guys came and did all the outsides on our building, so I did the insides. They are beautiful to see.

Two pairs of grown-up pants mended, two child's sewing projects completed.

Last of the moldy items finally washed.

Dishes, laundry, sweeping, some.

All this, with one lonely child at my side all day.

One of the really great things about being a Quaker is that you don't have to do too much housekeeping. A suspiciously clean or orderly house raises questions about whether you're devoting yourself enough to your spiritual life. ;-)

OH I always hear how clean Quaker women are supposed to keep their homes....

Yeah, whatever.

LOL

At least you are keeping it up, Ms. Robin :)
