It's Spring!

You will say Christ saith this, and the apostles say this,
but what canst thou say?
Art thou a child of Light and hast thou walked in the Light,
and what thou speakest is it inwardly from God?
Margaret Fell, quoting from her first encounter with George Fox

Robin,
I wish I had taken a photo of the 3 millimeters of our rhubarb plant that is pushing up out of the soil under the leaves today.
It's New England spring! Crocuses are up, snowdrops are up, skunk cabbage is blooming in the swamp.
And today is, after all, Pi Day!!!! (3.14)
Shalom,
Raye
Yeah for spring!!
Just wanted to pass this 'disturbing' link on that is refering to the emergent church movement as a 'cult.' I don't know a ton about the movement, but what I've heard it does not seem like that at all....

Oh, the picture is a stock photo from some gardening site. The rhubarb in my parents' yard isn't that big yet either. I didn't take a picture, but it was about six inches long. I got the rhubarb at the grocery store. But the pie was pretty good anyway.
Liz, you can probably find websites calling Quakers a cult too, if you look hard enough. I wouldn't worry about it.
Gosh, my rhubarb is showing only the tiniest bit of green. Not at all ready to unfurl a leaf. And I'm only a few miles from you! Well, I knew it was warmer down there.
No rhubarb in my garden as I'm afraid the chickens will eat it and it's toxic for them. I did plant 40 strawberry plants last month!
Good luck with the pie. Sounds so yummy.....
